Apply For Your Place

25 January – 7 February 2021

Option choices for the academic year are made available and the student application form goes live on the school website.  Applications received after this date will also be considered.

Your Sixth Form Interview

Sixth Form Interviews
Details of how and when interviews will take place are currently being reviewed and you will be advised of this once arrangements have been confirmed.

Touring the School

Why not book a tour of the school to see all that we have to offer you and your education. The tour is not part of the joining process but we highly recommend it to any student wanting to join us and we are always happy to show you around.

Step one - the Straw Poll

You will need to register your interest in the subjects you wish to study in Sixth Form between Thursday 7th November and Thursday 21st November by completing the Straw Poll.

This process will then enable us to maximise student choice and develop our subject columns around you, the student.

Please note that this does NOT mean you have applied for a place in Sixth Form, it just provides the school with an indication of interest in each subject.

Step two - the Application

Option Blocks and Student Application Form go live on the school website on Monday 2nd December 2019 – Friday 10th January 2020. The final deadline for applications is Friday 10th January 2020 (although applications received after this date will be considered).

Step three - the Interview

These will take place in the week beginning Monday 3rd February 2020. External student interviews will be held after school on Wednesday 5th February 2020. These meetings will be a chance for you to ask questions and clarify any matters regarding your application as well as for us to ascertain your suitability for Chipping Norton Sixth Form.
