A group of Year 11 students attended an Open Day at Trinity College as part of the Oxford University Spires Programme. The Spires Programme aims to encourage and support students considering applying to Russell Group universities.

The day started with an introduction to the university and a talk about applications, living accommodation and information about appropriate A-level options. This talk was followed by a Q&A session with current students and a tour of the college. To end the day they took part in a political debate; a form of learning often experienced during university education.
