On April 25th, a selected group of Year 8 students attended a special Careers event at Blenheim Palace.

The students were divided in to teams of three and tasked with extracting as much Careers information as possible from over twenty local professionals (including various employees from Blenheim Palace), who kindly volunteered to share their experiences with the students. The students were able to ask questions such as ‘What skills, knowledge and qualifications do you need to be the best at your job?’, ‘How easy is it to get the job?’, ‘What is your favourite and least favourite part of your job and why?’, ‘What school qualifications and subjects would you need to study to do your job?’ and ‘How long have you wanted to be involved in this kind of work?’.

All the students really enjoyed this informative event and learnt a great deal about possible future careers.
