Sponsor a tree: School Council supports the Woodland Trust

The Woodland Trust is the largest woodland charity in the United Kingdom concerned with the creation, protection, and restoration of native woodland heritage.  They have offered our school a great opportunity to help the environment by donating 420 trees to Chipping Norton School, for us to plant.
Our aim is to invite students and families to sponsor a tree. Money raised will be divided; half will be given back to The Woodland Trust and the other half will be invested into future green projects at Chipping Norton School.

The school council launched the project across all year groups. There is a competition to see which year group can sponsor the most trees and which year group can raise the most money, so watch this space for future news on this project.
For more information about this wonderful opportunity,  please contact Mr Parker ([email protected]).
