Year 7, 8 and 9 have enjoyed author talks by Liz Pichon, Victoria Schwab and Lisa Thompson this week as part of our Book Week celebrations.

Liz Pichon gave an entertaining talk about how her journey to becoming a world famous author started from being a keen writer as a child. She also demonstrated how to draw her style of doodle cartoons.
Victoria Schwab spoke about how her love of spooky stories and travel helped her write her fantastic ‘City of Ghosts’ series of books, and Lisa Thompson delivered a talk about how the plots to her mystery books are driven by the characters that she creates.

The students enjoyed hearing about the authors’ fantastic books and their journeys to becoming successful writers.
