The Cologne Christmas Market attracts over 2 million people and this year that number included 45 pupils from Chipping Norton School.  With six markets to visit and a host of other activities planned, the 3 day trip was a whirlwind of cultural highlights.

As well as experiencing the magic of the various markets in the city, the students climbed the 533 steps to the top of Cologne’s cathedral tower, visited the Lindt chocolate museum, ice skated at the Aldstadt market, enjoyed a pool disco and laser show at Aqualand and a boat trip on the Rhine.

We look forward to running this trip again next year.
