On September 13th we celebrated outstanding sporting success and effort at our annual Sports Awards celebration – now in its 9th year! Over 200 students, parents and teachers were present to witness the awards being handed out, including dedication to sport awards, sportswomen and sportsman of the year awards and team of the year.

We were fortunate to have former Olympic triple jumper Vernon Samuels on hand to present the trophies. Vernon spoke passionately about how he got into athletics and how sport has benefitted him throughout his life. It was a fantastic evening; congratulations to all those nominated for an award and good luck to all students for the forthcoming sports season.
