Members of Reading Club attended a talk by best-selling author, Jonathan Stroud at Burford School. Jonathan is on a nationwide tour promoting his latest book ‘The empty grave’ and all the students loved hearing about both his ‘Lockwood & Co’ and ‘Bartimaeus’ series of books. After the talk, the students were able to meet the author and get their new books signed. It was an inspiring talk and everyone felt very motivated to read Jonathan’s exciting novels.
