During Lockdown 2, the Design and Technology department set a challenge to all students to create a culinary masterpiece showcasing the humble baked bean!
The prize for the lucky winner was to win their height in cans of baked beans!
Over 100 students entered the competition and emailed photos of their finished creations – towers of beans in all shapes and sizes, students making and shaping their own cans from bread and making their own toast ice cream cones. Choosing a winner was a difficult decision.

Winner of their height in beans is…

Hannah Proctor (Year 7) who won due to her amazing presentation skills. It really does look like a plate of food that you would get at a top restaurant.
