A Level Bridging Work
Dear future sixth-formers, well done for completing the first phase of your bridging work in time for our induction day on Monday 12th July. Now that your A-level journey has begun, we felt it appropriate to make the second phase of our bridging work enrichment focussed.
If the first phase of our bridging work was designed to introduce the rigour and demands of studying at A-level, this second phase is very much focussed upon enrichment.
Each of the phase two folders below now includes a document that recommends things to read, watch, listen to and try. We hope that you find in amongst these tasks things that delight and inspire; your teachers have spent time recommending the kinds of things that encouraged their love of their subject.
Do make sure you look at the contents of each document carefully: some subjects have included one or two compulsory tasks (such as reading set texts).
As before, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with your teacher – their contact details are in each document.
Have a lovely summer and see you in September.
