Having been unable to travel to Germany since 2019, we were very excited to return this year to the Christmas markets in Cologne. Such was the demand that we decided to run two trips this year, giving 100 students the opportunity to sample this festive cultural experience.  

As well as visiting many of the Christmas markets in Cologne, the students also visited the world-famous Cologne Cathedral, and enjoyed a guided tour of the Lindt chocolate museum. In the evening, they visited Aqualand – a highlight of the trip for many students.  After the pool disco and laser show, we spent time on the many slides and whirlpools.
