GCSE Results 2018

Students excel at Chipping Norton School – A quarter of all grades were 9-7 (A*-A)

Students at Chipping Norton are celebrating excellent GCSE results, with the number of top grades (9-7) outstripping the national average once again.

“Following the outstanding results of last year, we are delighted with the 2018 GCSE results that Chipping Norton School students have achieved. Results are in line with the aspirational targets students were set and, although the move to the new 9-1 grades for GCSE examinations makes comparison difficult, we know that progress from starting points is very strong.  The overall 9-4 % is very good as is the proportion of top grades (9-7). It was a pleasure to share this success with individuals as they opened their envelopes this morning and I would like to thank both students and staff for all their hard work.”
