Christmas Celebration Assembly

As a school we encourage students to develop compassion, courage, creativity and curiosity – our House mottos and in the last week of term were delighted to recognise and celebrate all forms of student success and achievements in a series of special Celebration Assemblies for Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Tutors were proud to acknowledge two students each who frequently demonstrate ‘Courage and Good Character’ in their Tutor group. It was very moving to hear the tutors tell the students and  parents in the audience why they stand out as someone who is turning into a great person, who we can all admire.

At the end of each Celebration Assembly, Heads of Year announced winners of their ‘Special Recognition’ awards. These awards were given to students who have particularly impressed and inspired their Head of Year and PSA since September.

Mr Doherty acknowledged the special achievements of Emma Church (Year 10) for the outstanding contribution that she has made to not only our school community but to the wider community as well.
